Janet Eng was appointed as SPTI's Director of Licensing, Asia, in 2004.  Based at SPTI’s offices in Singapore, Eng provides a number of markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines, with a closer, more systematic presence. She also pursues the sourcing of local content, maximizes the licensing of formats and supports the development of production arrangements in those markets.

Eng joined SPTI from Singapore Press Holdings in Singapore where she was Advertisement Sales Director overseeing government, corporate and display advertising since January 2003. She headed the sales team covering sales and marketing for the government sector for all newspapers within Singapore Press Holdings
