TV Over Net

Tom is the Founder and Managing Director of Wysiwyg Films, through which he has produced two features and several shorts. Tom trained as an anthropologist, but transferred to film to produce the comedy feature The Ultimate Truth, which went on to win an award in New York and gained a US release. In 2006 he won the Cannes 24 Hour Film Challenge with his short film Towel Talk.

In early 2005 he launched a specialist digital distribution arm of Wysiwyg to release quality independent films that would not normally receive a release through standard distributors. Wysiwyg is now a specialist in Internet distribution, releasing films across the world through a wide variety of digital services such as CinemaNow, Lovefilm and Joost. He has a desire to see independent film shown to the widest possible audience, while filling a huge gap in the market.
